{"id":265,"date":"2023-11-27T19:10:37","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T19:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/treeconomy.com.co\/?p=265"},"modified":"2023-11-27T19:10:37","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T19:10:37","slug":"why-tree-planting-is-a-safe-an-incredible-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/treeconomy.com.co\/es\/sin-categoria\/por-que-plantar-arboles-es-una-inversion-segura-e-increible\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 plantar \u00e1rboles es una inversi\u00f3n segura e incre\u00edble?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El primer grupo de oportunidades provenientes de <strong>plantaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles<\/strong> deriva de las estrategias del acuerdo para el crecimiento verde en Colombia, desarrollado por el Departamento Nacional de Planeaci\u00f3n, donde, con base en el trabajo de Profor (2017) y UPRA (2019), se definieron las estrategias de largo plazo para el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico con base en un marco del desarrollo sostenible. En particular, 7 de los 8 temas tratados en este acuerdo est\u00e1n relacionados con el PFCm, donde, por ejemplo, uno de estos busca promover el uso sostenible de las plantaciones comerciales. En consecuencia, se espera que el trabajo realizado por el Estado se traslade a un sector forestal con mayor nivel de profundidad y desarrollo en el futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El segundo grupo de oportunidades de la industria seg\u00fan UPRA (2019) \u201c\u2026 deriva del crecimiento esperado de la demanda de productos forestales maderables en el entorno colombiano y en el contexto internacional, lo que implica una mayor actividad en los mercados nacionales y de exportaci\u00f3n de estos productos. \u201d Se estima que para 2030 la demanda de productos maderables de primera transformaci\u00f3n (madera aserrada, celulosa y tableros) aumentar\u00e1 a 9,2 millones de m3, lo que representar\u00e1 aproximadamente el doble de lo estimado para 2015. A nivel mundial, seg\u00fan la FAO (2016), la Se espera que la demanda de madera sea de aproximadamente 1,7 billones de m3 para 2030, lo que representa 200 millones de m3 m\u00e1s que la estimaci\u00f3n de 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El tercer grupo de oportunidades relacionadas con la plantaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles est\u00e1 relacionado con el r\u00e1pido desarrollo del mercado de carbono, no s\u00f3lo en Colombia, sino tambi\u00e9n a nivel internacional. Este mercado se divide en dos, el mercado de certificados de carbono, en el que participan empresas que por ley est\u00e1n obligadas a reducir su impacto ambiental, y el mercado voluntario, donde empresas con pol\u00edticas de desarrollo sostenible compran el servicio de captura de carbono de las plantaciones forestales por decisi\u00f3n propia. En el caso de Colombia, con la implementaci\u00f3n de la Ley 1931 del 27 de julio de 2018, a las empresas contaminantes se les da la opci\u00f3n de elegir entre pagar m\u00e1s impuestos o financiar proyectos que capturen carbono del ambiente, es decir, plantaciones forestales. Esto da paso a la consolidaci\u00f3n de un mercado de carbono en el pa\u00eds. Asimismo, seg\u00fan Hamrick, K., &amp; Gallant, M. (2019), \u201cel n\u00famero de emisiones globales reguladas por el mercado de carbono aumentar\u00e1 en casi 70% para 2020, en comparaci\u00f3n con 2019\u201d, lo cual es relevante, porque el carbono Los mercados no se limitan a un solo pa\u00eds, lo que implica que las empresas que contaminan en Europa pueden comprar certificados de carbono de plantaciones en Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cuarto grupo de oportunidades provenientes de la plantaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles se centra en los subsidios que otorga el Estado para el establecimiento de plantaciones comerciales. El primero de ellos es el certificado de incentivo forestal (CIF), que busca facilitar la financiaci\u00f3n de este tipo de proyectos otorgando una subvenci\u00f3n de entre 40 y 50% dependiendo de la especie sobre los costos de <strong>plantaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles<\/strong> y mantenimiento de los primeros 4 a\u00f1os. El segundo es el Incentivo a la Capitalizaci\u00f3n Rural (ICR), el cual consiste en un desembolso de hasta 20% del valor total del cr\u00e9dito solicitado para la inversi\u00f3n, cabe se\u00f1alar que el ICR no fue creado espec\u00edficamente para el sector forestal, aunque s\u00ed se considera en el incentivo.
